Caption Contests. I've done this at other boards.
A mod posts a pic in a sticky thread, and then members come up with quotes for it. Whoever wins gets a special privilege for one week (A bolded username, or even a badge, etc).

Sounds like a plan to me - a good one too. I have also participated in these threads on other boards.
I only have one reservation: That is the number of people who regularly post - I feel we need more people posting before the idea will take off!
