Have heard the concerns of some saying the board was running slow.
I did look into it and the forum software company techs advised me everything was running fine with the software So I went to the hosting company (the ones I buy the domain hosting from). My main concern was that since we are on a "Shared Server" we share a server with several other web sites and one of those web sites might be "taxing" the system. If this was the case, the only alternative would be to purchase a dedicated server from the hosting company (one for us and us only to use) but the fee associated with that ranges from $125 - $200 a month which is quite a large increase as compared to what I am paying now.
Everything seems to be running fine now and I asked the hosting company to reset the server in hopes of speeding things up. I am hoping that the slow down was caused by the forum software performing normal automatic maintenance of the system (caching files, threads and such) The system does perform these operations normally but I am looking into changing these automated taks so they will be in the late late hours of the evening when there are not a lot of people using the system.
The other alternative (since the price of a dedicated server is very high) is to look into a Virtual Server where we still share it but with a very small amount of web sites thus freeing up more space but unfortunately a virtual server still costs a bit of money (Almost $100 a month)
