I having gotten to ride it now twice. Once on the friday before the grand opening and then once last week. I thought they did a great job. The only bad thing is if you are lucky enough to sit by a very large person, then you have half their cheek in your seat. I was so thankful that the CM left a few seats at the end, so I had room to scoot over. I have also checked out the MOO room. Which is the room they have set up for those people who can't transfer out of their wheelchairs. If I had the choise, it will be going down those tricky stairs instead of the MOO room. In that room you get to see everything you see on the subs. But for me I thought it lost something in the translation. I had forgotten how slow the subs actully move. But I thought they did a great job with all the special effects.
The other thing is I am so glad that the wheelchairs go in a different way. Yes we have to wait for only one person in a wheelchair party is on each sub. But then I looked at where they line goes to and then I think its not so bad.
I would love to hear anyone else thoughts on what they thought of it.

We went to Disneyland after Christmas this past year for our first visit. I enjoyed the Nemo subs and also thought they did a great job with the effects.

I thought it was OK a bit uncomfortable I'm afraid.

Nemo Subs were great, but had to wait 60+ minutes last August 2008 on a Tuesday... GRRR

Watching them work on it everyday I really didn't expect what I got. I really thought it was going to be like the old ride only with little foam Doris and Marlins. So i was very pleased with the special effects. But i do agree about the comfort lacking in the setting department. But it could have been worst.

The Nemo ride is great exept for the cramped seating. My family always goes on the Finding Nemo Ride Disneyland (http://www.yourdisneygetaway.com/Finding-Nemo-Submarine-Voyage-Disneyland-Ride.html) first thing in the morning with Early Entry. If you wait lines are sure to reach an hour +.:groupwave2:

My favorite sub place, suprisingly enough, is the chain Quiznos. I absolutely love their toasted subs. Next I like Jimmy John's in downtown Evanston. They have all fresh ingredients and their bread is baked fresh daily. Captain Nemo's subs. This place has the best subs I have ever eaten. Their soup is awesome, as well. Everything is made on site. Crispy Gonella bread, too! This is the only place you can find a sub that includes liverwurst!

I had my reservations about the ride at first, but when my husband & I rode it last year, we were impressed. It's a lot better than the old submarines where you see "fish on a stick".

Have to agree, I rode it again in December and I think I appreciated it far more this time.
