She received a letter in the mail today to say that she has got a job interview next Friday. :yahoo:

It would be working on the platforms at Lancaster Railway Station as a Customer Service Assistant. This would involve, basically, dispatching the trains and guiding people to where they want to go.

She currently works in the cafe on the station as a Catering Supervisor. But this new job would double her wages overnight and comes with many benefits.

As part of the interview process, Ann has to do some Aptitude questions.

They have sent through some sample ones - So we are going to have a look at them now.

It's just a waiting game now....

Annie

Well, that was painfull.

We went in 35 mins late, and then he made us wait another 10 mins so he could sort out some paper work. once all the intruductions were done, we started on the tests.

The first test was 36 questions to be answered in 10 mins, I only answered 17 questions, but he did say that we will not be able to answer all 36 questions, if we read all the instructions.

Then came the consentration test that had 50 questions and took us 1 hour to complete, that test wasn't to bad, I found it pretty easy.

Then after 5 hours I finally had my interview, which I think went really well. There was a little bit if banter come the end of the interview, which went down really well.

So all I have to now is wait and see what happens.

So fingers crossed :work:
