March Madness Scrapbooking Weekend

Just didn't want anybody to be alarmed when they didn't see me around for a few days (especially you Ron!). I'll be back!

I am getting away for a much needed (for my sanity) scrapbooking weekend with a group of friends, including our very own tninag! :yes:

I won't around after tomorrow (Friday) morning until most likely Monday morning. And that's only if I'm not spending the entire day Monday sleeping because I likely won't get much sleeping in over the weekend! :grin2:

Any other scrapbooker's here on our site? I'd like to eventually start up a scrapbooking forum for us all to share pictures of our layouts and ideas with each other.

I am right now busy searching through my Disney photos on my laptop and burning some photo's of various attractions for T-Nina to use in her book.

We had a blast! It was sad when T had to leave yesterday afternoon and head back home...but we already have our next one planned!

I'll post more about our weekend after I've had a little more sleep and can actually know what I'm saying/typing. Until last night....the last time I had slept before that was 3:30 AM Friday morning! So I'm TIRED!!!!!! But I pretty much finished my two Disney albums I was working on and had great company while doing it! It's kind like going on a vacation to Disney....you can sleep when you get home!!! :laugh4:

Oh, it was a very educational weekend!

I learned:

1.Some things a woman my age shouldn't even think about.
2.Melissa has a potty mouth.
3.I look better old and gray than I do young and brunette. (Yeah, that's what I was told)
4.Men don't answer the phone (that must be women's work).
5.I-75 makes a sharp left turn in the middle of downtown Detroit.
6.Tea will make your floorboard wet.

I learned a few other things, but this is a family oriented forum.

It is a lot of fun - Gae was teasing that she has commitment issues because she doesn't like to glue things down or decide on layouts or anything. I would actually like to try scrapbooking something non-disney - but I really don't have anything else right now to work on!
